Lee Colin's 2010 Green Vehicles Triac(Salinas, CA) Green Vehicles Inc. After scoring the highest; and being chosen for a multimillion dollar grant last week, by the California Energy Commission and with the support of Mayor Donohue and the City of Salinas - Green Vehicles the company will expand manufacturing of the Triac 2.0 electric commuter vehicle. She is slated to be the worlds most environmentally friendly vehicle on the planet. To name 2 of many reasons for that bold statement, is that it will be built locally using the most sustainable of manufacturing processes and materials and made very easy to recycle. The Triac has only three wheels and it is 1000 pounds lighter than its closest competitor the Nissan Leaf. She travels 100 + miles on a single charge and plugs into either 110 or 220 standard outlets. Green is now taking $500.00 refundable deposits on the web site for the Triac 2.0 coming out in January 2011. www.greenvehicles.com(display only)
